We recommend washing your The Shell hair extensions after 10-15 uses. Unless you wear it daily, you can probably use your best judgement in how often to wash it. You don't need to use any styling products on your hair extensions but if you do, be gentle as to preserve the life of your Shell Hair extensions.

Storage :

The Shell Hair extensions will last you for years depending on how often you wear it and how well you take care of it. Hence we recommend, please store it in a clean plastic packet or a satin pouch which we provide you with.

Cleaning :

We do not recommend washing Clip-in Streaks with shampoo, as it may make the hair rough. Washing bright-colored Clip-in streaks like Burgundy, Queen Red, Persian Blue, etc., will cause the color to bleed after every wash, so we recommend washing them less frequently.
Before washing, you should detangle The Shell Hair Clip in Streaks using a gentle brush from its ends to its roots. We recommend brushing your hair extensions before you put them on and after you remove them.
Apply hair conditioner or hair spa while washing it. There is no need to oil it, as these are dead hair. Keep the conditioner on the hair topper for at least 1.5 hours, after which you can wash it.
