* Wet the messy bun scrunchie with normal water

* Apply hair conditioner or hair spa while washing it. There is no need to oil it, as these are dead hair. Keep the conditioner on the hair topper for at least 1.5 hours, after which you can wash it.

* While the hair is wet, comb the hair of messy bun in the circular direction so it may take its shape of a bun once it dries out.

* Let your bun dry naturally. You may use a hair serum or heat protectant before you style them for a neater yet shinier result.
