Care :

1. Before washing you should de-tangle The Shell hair using a gentle brush from its ends to its roots. We recommend you brush your hair extensions before you put it on and after you remove it. It is normal for hair extensions to shed a few strands but that does not mean it will hamper the over all volume of your Hair Extensions at any point. It is normal for hair extensions & hair toppers to have a few grey or red strands, which we try our best to remove it, but since it is 100% human hair, it is very natural & not a sign of a damaged product.
2. We recommend washing your The Shell hair extensions after 10-15 uses. Unless you wear it daily, you can probably use your best judgement in how often to wash it. You don't need to use any styling products on your hair extensions but if you do, be gentle as to preserve the life of your Shell Hair extensions.

Storage:

The Shell Hair extensions will last you for years depending on how often you wear it and how well you take care of it. Hence we recommend, please store it in a clean plastic packet or a satin pouch which we provide you with.

Cleaning:

1. We do not recommend washing Hair Toppers with shampoo, as it may make the hair rough.

2. Before washing, you should detangle The Shell Hair using a gentle brush from its ends to its roots. We recommend brushing your hair extensions before you put them on and after you remove them.

3. Apply hair conditioner or hair spa while washing it. There is no need to oil it, as these are dead hair. Keep the conditioner on the hair topper for at least 1.5 hours, after which you can wash it.

4. After washing, let your hair extensions dry naturally. You may use a hair serum or heat protectant before you style them for a neater yet shinier result.
